Girly Bits Holiday Magic Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a new collection from Girly Bits to share with you today. These nine polishes make up her Holiday Magic Collection. This collection is a collaboration with Girly Bits spokesperson, Megan Edwards. Megan is a a model and is in the fashion and entertainment scene in Vancouver, Canada. She is currently with Virgin Radio, as well as a panelist on CTV news: Fame Factor. Megan and Pam have come together to create this pretty and festive set.

The Holiday Magic Collection will be released Sunday November 22nd at 12 pm EST in Girly Bits shop.

Each polish will be priced $13 CAD (which comes out to about $9.75 USD). For a limited time, you can also purchase the entire set for a discounted $108 CAD (which converts to just over $81 USD) and this includes free shipping within North America.

For those who like to do group orders, free shipping in North America for orders over $80 CAD (before tax) and now, over $200 CAD for international orders.

Girly Bits Blazing Yule Before Us
Three coats
Vintage gold flake shimmer
Go for the gold with this lovely shimmer! I know, that was beyond corny and I can already hear your groans lol but I could not help myself, it just popped in my mind. Formula is good, I applied three thinner coats for full coverage.

Girly Bits Blue Christmas
Two coats
Dark navy creme
So deep and dark and gorgeous. It's very opaque, barely needing that second coat for coverage.

Girly Bits Coal Dancer
Three coats
Black, silver, and sapphire blue holographic glitter in a black jelly base
Oh yeah, that's the kind of sparkle I love to see. I especially like the flashes of blue against the silver and black. Depending on how thick you apply your coats and how much coverage you want, you could get away with two or three coats, I have it shown with three thinner coats and a double layer of topcoat.

Girly Bits Don’t Tangle Your Tinsel
Two coats
Holographic silver micro-glitter
Hrmmmmm more sparkle. I will never tire of holo micro-glitter bombs, especially when they are opaque like this one is. It's a tad thick in formula, so wait a few minutes between coats. And as with the Coal Dancer, a double layer of topcoat is recommended if you want a smooth finish.

Girly Bits Jiminy Christmas
Two coats
Evergreen jelly base with evergreen holographic micro-glitter
Such a stunning green polish. It's quite opaque and easy to apply, two coats will get your the coverage you need.

Girly Bits Little Red Toque
Two coats
Bright red jelly base with scattered gold holographic micro-glitter
My favorite of the collection which I am certain is a surprise to absolutely no one. The gold sparks are more obvious in person than in my photos. Easy peasy application in two coats.

Girly Bits Love Your Elf
Two coats
Pale pink creme with silver and pink micro-shimmer
A soft and cozy color. It's perfect as a base for some sort of nail art, which I will have to do asap. It's a little bit thick but not problematic. Two coats and you're done.

Girly Bits No Peeking ‘Til 7AM
Two coats
Burgundy creme/jelly
I live for this sort of vampy oxblood colored polish. In low lighting it looks a bit brown toned. Nice fluid formula that that is opaque in two coats.

Girly Bits Sandy Claws
Two coats
Pale copper toned nude linear holographic with pink and purple shimmer
Last but not least, we have the holo polish from the collection. I really like how metallic it looks. No sun shot photo from me but Sheila of Pointless Cafe has one, so you can see the medium density holo flame. Two buttery coats for coverage.
