Hi everyone! I have a new duo to share with you today. Elevation Polish and Pahlish are working together once again, this time the inspiration comes from the adventures and travels of the explorer Marco Polo. Both Lulu and Shannon recently watched the Netflix series, Marco Polo, and after realizing that they both wanted to do a Marco Polo inspired collection, decided to join creative forces.
Elevation Polish and Pahlish will each be releasing a seven polish Marco Polo collection in August, I have those polishes in hand and can't wait to share them with you! In addition to those two collections, they have this collaboration duo, The Venetian Duo. You can purchase both collection as well as The Venetian Duo in both brands' shops.
Pahlish will be releasing their collection and this duo on Sunday, August 2nd, at 7 pm CST in their shop.
Elevation Polish will be releasing their collection and this duo during their regular monthly restock time at Friday August 7th, at 9 pm CST in their shop.
Elevation Polish The Merchant's Sea
Two coats
Light turquoise creme/jelly with blue/green shimmer
A gorgeous shade of turquoise! It's has a nice consistency, thinner than I have come to expect from Elevation Polish's formula. It is also a thermal polish. My photos show it's natural warm state color, if it's in contact with colder tempatures, it will darken. I don't have a photo of the that transition, thermals and I have a hard time getting along, especially in the hot summer months. But Ehmkay Nails has photos of both warm and cold state of this polish on her blog. As with many other thermal polishes, the thermal pigment does have a shelf life. The shelf life for The Merchant's Sea has been tested for a year now and it is still reactive. The final state of the polish, once that thermal pigment "expires" will be a bit darker then my photo, it will be between what the color and warm state colors are.
Pahlish The Wayfarer
Layered over Elevation Polish The Merchant's Sea
Clear base with metallic chrome flakes, iridescent glitter and subtle silver and iridescent shimmer
This is just another example of why I love duos. You have the beautiful Elevation color and then you add Pahlish's flakie topper and wow oh wow, they are just stunning together.

Love both these brands! I have a question, I am confused. Will both Pahlish and Elevation have different colours under their own labels (i.e. 7 Pahlish + 7 Elevations), plus the collaboration shown above? Because if that's the case, that's FOURTEEN different polishes.... my brain can't process this. Or will it be the same 7 colours from both? (I'm not sure, at this point, what answer I'm really hoping for).
ReplyDeleteYes! There will be 14 polishes, plus the duo. Pahlish will be releasing their 7 polish collection and Elevation will also be releasing their own 7 polish collection.
