Lollipop Posse Lacquer Midsummer Midnights Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey guys! I have a new collection from Lollipop Posse Lacquer to share with you today. These six make up her upcoming Midsummer Midnights Collection. These colors are darker, moody colors, taking us from the hottest nights of the year into fall. I personally love summer nights, those are the times where I am out and about more, when future possibilities feel real and exciting, when you dream of what lies ahead. Okay I will stop with the philosophical tangent, I am just excited for you guys to see these!

Formula wise, these were great. There are a few different finishes within the six polishes and they applied easily with two or three coats. Karen, the creator of Lollipop Posse Lacquer, included some links to songs that help with her inspiration for this collection, I will be including them underneath each description as well, I loved the songs she chose.

The Midsummer Midnights Collection will be available in Lollipop Posse Lacquer's shop on Monday, July 13th at 12 pm (Noon) EST

The holographic shades will be $11, the others will be $9.50 and there will also be an option to purchase the entire set of six at a discounted $57 with free shipping, which is a great deal!

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Backwards and Inside Out
Three coats
Slate blue/green linear holographic
An unusual blue holo color. It has a somewhat metallic looking finish, which is nice because the holo flame is wonderful in direct light.

Lollipop Posse Lacquer But I Haven't Met You Yet
Two coats
Cherry red creme/jelly with pink micro-flame shimmer
Inspiration: Björk - I Miss You
The most bright color of the collection. I love the complimentary shimmer that is has.

(Direct Sunlight)

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Inside My Head
Three coats
Black jelly base with holographic gold micro-glitter and various gold flakes
Inspiration: Mad Girl's Love Song
This has the thinnest fomula, I got full coverage with three coats but you may need to apply four if you wipe a lot of polish off your brush before applying. I think that the color is gorgeous though, those holo micro-glitter look great under all lighting.

(Direct Sunlight)

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Slipping Out Of Time
Two coats
Navy creme/jelly base with blue to gold color shifting flakes and holo silver glitter
The blue/gold flakes look green toned in the base and it is a nice contrast against the deep blue.

(Direct Sunlight)

Lollipop Posse Lacquer That's How Witch Babies Are
Two coats
Indigo creme/jelly with neon purple flakes and scattered holographic effect
A delicious blue/purple color, which of course automatically makes it a bitch to photograph well.

(Direct Sunlight)

Lollipop Posse Lacquer This Fruit Was Bruised
Two coats
Bruised burgundy purple linear holographic
My favorite of the collection! It's a rich and moody color, tying well into the theme, and as with Backwards and Inside Out, it has a metallic looking finish which makes for a majorly bold holo in the sun.
